Green Initiative
LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) is an internationally recognized, green building certification program. It encourages adoption of sustainable green building and development practices through rating systems that recognize projects that implement strategies for better environmental and health performance. A third party certification program, LEED is the accepted benchmark for design, construction, and operation of high performance green buildings. Salesmaster Flooring Solutions is an active and enthusiastic supporter of LEED certification.
Salesmaster Green Initiatives:
- Solar Panels installed and operating in Chicopee Facility
- Recycling of paper, padding, and plastic at all locations
Full electronic order taking procedures instituted resulting in the reduction of paper consumption by about 50%- Salesmaster has three architectural representatives out of six that are aggressively working on becoming certified LEED associates
