Salesmaster Flooring Solutions is a wholesale distributor of commercial resilient floor coverings, commercial wood flooring, carpet and installation supplies. Wholesale to the trade only, we serve most of the Northeastern United States, including all of New England, New Jersey and Eastern New York State from Albany to Long Island. We operate two fully stocked Supercenter distribution facilities located in Deer Park, NY and Chicopee, MA. We also have a satellite facility in Albany, NY.
The company was founded in 1961, and is run by Steve Kurtz (President), Ray Izatt (Vice President, Sales), Mark Watkins (Vice President, MIS), and Tony Giannattassio (Vice President, Finance). Salesmaster started as a small counter operation, and has steadily grown as the result of excellent service, strong customer commitment, and loyal vendor partnerships, to become one of the top performing commercial flooring and installation supplies distributors in the country.
Our customer base consists of commercial floor covering contractors, installation workrooms, home improvement centers, and retail floor covering stores.
Our product lines include such respected manufacturers as Roppe, Mannington, Azrock, Centiva, Dramatic Surface Products, Noblefloor, Fordom, Tred-MOR, Leggett & Platt, Mapei, Chapco, Futura, Orcon, Bostik, Coronet, Mohawk, Shaw, USG, Crain, and numerous others. Additionally, Salesmaster is a distributor of Powerhold products, representing a consortium of floor covering distributors across the United States.
We are also members in good standing of the Greater New York Flooring Association, National Association of Floor Covering Distributors, Floor Installation Association of North America, Long Island Floor Covering Association, Floor Covering Installation Contractors Association, CFI – International Certified Floorcovering Installers Association, Connecticut Floor Covering Association, and New England Floor Covering Association. Our credit throughout the industry is outstanding, and we have received numerous sales and performance awards from our leading vendors. Salesmaster has seventeen sales representatives on the road, including six Architecture and Design Specialists and two Floor Preparation Technical Specialists. Ongoing formal training programs for both customer service and sales staffs are an important element in what sets us apart from our competition. We have our own fleet of twelve trucks including tractor-trailers, and are committed to a policy of next day delivery.
Through our Architect and Design division we act as a liaison between the architectural community, the general contractors, the flooring contractor and the end user to assist all parties in making the proper specification for every application.
